IS THERE NO SOLUTION FOR POLLUTION??

Pollution Pollution

Is there no Solution

Can’t we all check it now…

For better future generations.

Garbage is thrown here and there

Noisy vehicles are emitting gases everywhere

Can’t we all check it now…

So that we are like countries elsewhere.

Factories are emitting waste material into rivers

Not knowing that this will be death of various survivors

Can’t we all check it now…

This will turn out to be a great treasure.

If we look down upon these measures carefully

We will be able to think skillfully

Can’t we all check it now…

And live on earth peacefully.

SAVE EARTH…..

OR ELSE, YOU WILL BE DEARTH….

Marine Style...

Well its high time we took showering seriuosly. And not because of hygiene alone. The average person wastes around 12-20 litres of water in a single shower. This is a large amount of water. And given the average size of households in India this amounts to almost a 100 litres a day. We're talking about good drinking quality water that we get in our taps. Well, as a very effective solution comes the military shower. Its the name given to the practice of turning off the shower when applying soap or shampoo or lathering. When one is done lathering, the shower is turned on again to rinse it off. A very simple solution to another daily problem. The water that we save today could not only help get water to water-starved areas but it could well be the water we might need tomorrow, given the ongoing fresh-water crisis that some of the nations of the world are facing. So go on and to your bit in saving the world. Hope this post helped. Happy Showering..!

Startup

While I had been planning this out for a while, you really never know when the mood to write(type) might suddenly hit you. In a way its like gambling, but thats besides the point. And while I had been thinking about starting this blog to share information and other "green" trends with my friends and other thinkers it never really got off the planning stage, so I thought why not jump your own gun. So here we are. Anyway, back to macro.  The good news is that its finally time you get to hold your groceries close to your heart as if they were your babies. Well, for the uninitiated plastic bags have finally been banned in Delhi. And while the news itself might be a good week old atleast, I never the less in a procrastinating fashion managed to delay this post as usual. Better late than never as they say. Okay, so while I am considered a generally green person, this one was real good news as I had been looking forward to this for quite a while. And the best part is that the implementation has been reasonably good. I experienced it first hand, when I was refused a polybag at the local Big Apple store and even at the sabzi mandi. Well lets keep our fingers crossed and hope it stays that way. Till next time, stay mean stay green..!
